Been a while

Busy summer...

Evan has been growing by leaps and bounds... emotionally he is becoming an incrdibly interesting human. He now has the ability to perfectly describe how he is feeling but his emotions get in his way. He has up and down days at school - we think he may need some extra sleep - though I tried that the past few nights and he woke up like a shot at 7:15am - weird, many days I am shaking him awake at 7:45 - we'll see what the time change does to him. Tonight he became incredibly scared of going to sleep, did not want me to leave the room - maybe all this Halloween stuff is getting to him.

Today was funny all of a sudden he started saying Human Race - he has no idea what it means, but he picked it up somewhere... Also he looked over as we were driving and said "Look Mommy a Gourd" when he saw a pumpkin on someone's porch - Ha! One last funny one... I asked him to do something and he said "That is So not going to happen"
