He's starting to read and write

Very exciting stuff. Last week we bought Evan reading flash cards and he is starting to sound out the words and figure them out. We have known for a while that he could do it, but he just hates being wrong so much that he didn't want to even try.

Then last night we argued before bed, he went to bed hours before me, and when I walked up there on the floor were two large pieces of paper with letters on them. The first one started with MOMSIREY and ended with ILVMOMME - awwww it was sweet he wrote an apology note. He is loving being able to communicate in this new way.
